IQH1's Muhibbah Project

Assalamualaikum, salam aidilfitri and salam merdeka we wish to all of you who read this post! :)

Before my friends and I went back for raya hols, we were given a task whereby we need to interview either relatives or friends about their opinions of inter-racial, inter-religious and of course Merdeka Celebration..In this task, I use this opportunity to interview my dad because he is the most closest person and the most reliable source of information that I could get..

The following dialogue is between my dad and I on asking for his opinion about three subjects namely, inter-racial, inter-religious and Merdeka Celebration..

Q: What are those challenges in making Malaysia so beautiful?


A: Malaysians have celebrate 54 years of Independence since 1957, we have living in harmony between all races and religion and together developing Malaysia to where we are now. Even though Malaysian came from various background, language, religion but we cannot deny we are Malaysians who dependent to each other in making 1 Malaysia successful. All races still able to maintaining and practicing uniqueness of their cultures in daily life, however when come to celebrating Merdeka and Aidilfitri we are able to celebrate together as a Malaysian.


Q: In Malaysia, we have multi religious people that live together peacefully and harmony. What are the ways to protect and preserve this positive outcome for the future?

A: R.E.S.P.E.C.T. each other background and culture. Secondly, strive to close the gap among races by having one language which is Bahasa Malaysia. Next, by having narrowing income gap whereby wealth quivalently distributed among Malaysian. Finally to inculcate the practice of religion which promote Malaysian living in harmony and respect of each other..


Q: This year is a special year as we celebrate Aidilfitri and Merdeka Day at the same time. What is your opinion about it?

A: Inter-racial, inter-religious and Merdeka Day are the ingredients which only can be found in Malaysia. The success of inter-racial and inter-religion among us enable Malaysian to celebrate this year colourful Hari Raya and Merdeka celebrations. This year is a special year where Malaysian celebrate both occasion in the same time and it can enhance the strong bond relationships between all races and religion among Malaysians.
