i n t e r - r a c i a l r e l a t i o n s h i p ?
Hi guys ! Enjoyed your holidays ? Although i met my family just for a while , it's a bonus for me during this Hari Raya . I miss them so much (little touching~) . Don't bother it . Now for my PROJECT MUHIBBAH , I decided to interview my uncle named Ustaz Redzuan bin Nahar .
So here is my conversation with him after being translated to English from Jawa version .
| handsome right? |
| cute right?(eyes up,hands on the shoulder) |
So here is my conversation with him after being translated to English from Jawa version .
Me : Assalamualaikum . How are you ?
Ustaz : I'm fine . Thank you .
Me : So what do you think about inter-racial relationship ?
Ustaz : Inter-racial relationship ?? Hmm . Inter-racial relationship is a positive thing because at the time of the Prophet himself , multiplicity race had existed . And in the Quran also stated , Allah said , which means:
"O mankind, We created you from male and female and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know (and despise each other). Verily, the most honorable of you with Allah is the most righteous of you, (not a descendant or race). Allah is All-Knowing, All Aware (of the conditions and deeds)."(Al-Hujurat: 13)
So , multiplicity races have been decided by God therefore every human being should have a kind of respect to other races .
Me : Ok , do you think that the idea of 1Malaysia reach its' objectives ?
Ustaz : Actually , we should not see the idea that came from human . Rightly we have to see the ideas that come from The Creator . So the idea of 1Malaysia got something that is not right while Allah has laid a religion that can solve the problems between races .
Me : Very well , I wish you Happy Eid and Happy 54th Independence Day !
Ustaz: Oh yes , Happy Independence Day and at the same time we are not independent yet , the religion(Islam) not independent yet , our soul not independent yet , and many more aspects that have to be liberated especially Islam itself . Allah stated in the Quran ,
"O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy."( al- Baqarah : 208-209 )
Me : Assalamualaikum .
Ustaz : Waalaikumsalam .

Before my friends and I went back for raya hols, we were given a task whereby we need to interview either relatives or friends about their opinions of inter-racial, inter-religious and of course Merdeka Celebration..In this task, I use this opportunity to interview my dad because he is the most closest person and the most reliable source of information that I could get..
Q: What are those challenges in making Malaysia so beautiful?
A: Malaysians have celebrate 54 years of Independence since 1957, we have living in harmony between all races and religion and together developing Malaysia to where we are now. Even though Malaysian came from various background, language, religion but we cannot deny we are Malaysians who dependent to each other in making 1 Malaysia successful. All races still able to maintaining and practicing uniqueness of their cultures in daily life, however when come to celebrating Merdeka and Aidilfitri we are able to celebrate together as a Malaysian.
Q: In Malaysia, we have multi religious people that live together peacefully and harmony. What are the ways to protect and preserve this positive outcome for the future?
A: R.E.S.P.E.C.T. each other background and culture. Secondly, strive to close the gap among races by having one language which is Bahasa Malaysia. Next, by having narrowing income gap whereby wealth quivalently distributed among Malaysian. Finally to inculcate the practice of religion which promote Malaysian living in harmony and respect of each other..
Q: This year is a special year as we celebrate Aidilfitri and Merdeka Day at the same time. What is your opinion about it?
A: Inter-racial, inter-religious and Merdeka Day are the ingredients which only can be found in Malaysia. The success of inter-racial and inter-religion among us enable Malaysian to celebrate this year colourful Hari Raya and Merdeka celebrations. This year is a special year where Malaysian celebrate both occasion in the same time and it can enhance the strong bond relationships between all races and religion among Malaysians.
Project Muhibbah
For this project, I have interviewed my uncle for his opinion about inter-religious friendship.
Q : What is your opinion about inter-religious friendship?
A : In my opinion, this type of relationship is develop between adherents of different religions in Malaysia. For example, inter-religious friendship might be between the followers of Islam, Hindu devotees, Buddhists and Christians. The relation between different religions in our country is strongly encouraged to create harmony in a multiracial society that also practices a different religion. As for Muslims in Malaysia, we are so lucky to celebrate Hari Raya and Independence Day this year at the same time. In addition, we can strengthen the relationship between different religions during both celebrations of Hari Raya and Independence Day. In a multiracial society like Malaysia, other adherents of different religions also celebrate Hari Raya and visiting the Muslims. This can make them to know and understand more about Muslims’ cultures and traditions. As a result, each of the different religions will respect each other and thus creating a harmonious society.

Muhibbah
During Raya holiday, I meet my auntie and I ask her several questions regarding the interracial relationship. Below is an interview sessions.
Interracial is an adjective related to a supposed racial group. Interracial marriage is one of the interracial relationship, it occurs when two people of different racial groups marry and thus the relationship was created.
What is the benefits of an interracial relationship?
The benefits of this kind of relationships are a lot. One of them is that it helps to bridge the two families of two different races , together. Also, the partner can learn their partner culture or religion. This will increase their knowledge and possibly learning new language. Second, the partner can become strong in what they believe and will have an incredible experience with someone that they love.
Based on your experience/opinion, what is the positive aspect about the interracial marriage?
As we all know every race have different culture and tradition. It is very important for us to understand the similarities and differences between the culture to prevent misunderstandings and to blend in together in harmony.
